Some will be done standing, seated, or lying down. But stretches WILL NOT REQUIRE any seated bent-knee positions. Some Feldenkrais exercises will be included. During this class we will playfully explore the feeling of moving within time and space. We will get a sense of dancing as individuals as well as dancing as a collective. The focus will be less on form and technique and more on creative expression. Learning about dance in this way is a no-pressure, innate experience for young children. This class is intended to cultivate a lifelong love of movement while creating confidence within any movement style regardless of ability.
