Digital Cameras may be smart, but they can't see. Whether you've got a digital compact (point-&-shoot) or a DSLR (with changeable lenses) this course will help you get more out of your camera by putting you (and your eye) in the driver's seat. We'll go beyond the AUTO setting into various Modes of control and all the way to Manual. We will delve into the visual language of photography including concepts of light, vantage point & frame. We will learn fundamental techniques using aperture, shutter speed & ISO together as expressive tools of the photographic medium. The workshop will leave space for questions, exploration specific types of photography, and a bit about working with images in the computer to prepare them for various uses. Everybody needs good photos!
