    Join Phyllis on Thursday mornings at 8:30 for a gentle yoga work out. The practice of yoga allows us to dive more deeply into our own inner stillness. Kripalu Yoga, named for Swami Kripalvanandji, uses breath, inward focusing, and concentration to help the practitioner move by stages from willful postures to a surrendered “meditation in motion”.

    “Tango is a feeling that is danced.” Shoes with good traction are a bad idea. Slippery-bottom (hard plastic or leather) heels with straps to hold them while walking backwards usually work well. As do leather bottom dress shoes of any kind. Nice, thick socks work wonderfully and are my personal preference.

    Local artist, Mark Willson, leads a hands-on workshop exploring the tempera-like medium of gouache. Mark's unique gouache paintings have been featured in the Blue Sage Gallery and the Glennie Coombe Gallery this year, and continue to draw questions from curious viewers about his technique.

    Gentle Therapeutic Movement: a class for those who may have challenges with knees or hips or with gereral flexibility. Some streteches will be done seated in chairs, or using chairs for support.     Delta's Fat Cat Pottery comes to the Blue Sage to lead an Art Uncorked event and guide you through the creation of the mug pictured below. You will be taught the technique used for the mug, but be able to pick different colors. This is a family friendly event and kids are encourage to attend! Tuition includes all supplies and a beverage.
